Nana’s Day.

Familial Feasts: If you could dedicate a holiday to a more distant relative, who would it be — and why?

Distant or not, a relationship that needs to be (and is) cherished and celebrated is the one with grand parents. Wow, they are so, we are… I mean we exist because of them. And I think grandparent’s day is official in some countries. Anyways, I would love a holiday or a vacation) to spend the entire time with nana and granpa. On the other hand, I would also love to have a holiday dedicated to the whole extended family. It could be called “our day” because it would be a celebration of everyone in the family.

Each family is unique and in some or the other way a little dysfunctional but, if just for one day, everything could be put aside and a holiday celebrated with fun, frolic and parades ( that went too far :D)  that would be great.

Every person is important in life else it would not be the roller-coaster that it is, who doesn’t like roller-coaster rides?? Life isn’t called a journey for nothing, it is a journey indeed. Journey of happiness, sadness, good, bad. Not having darkness will never let us appreciate the light. So, we should have frequent familial feasts to make us realise that friends are important too.

Like they say:

Variation is the spice of life, even closest of relations need a break.
