Filling in – Upturned Noses.

Even the most laid back and egalitarian among us can be insufferable snobs when it comes to coffee, music, cars, beer, or any other pet obsession where things have to be just so. What are you snobbish about?

Everyone has their pet peeves and somethings just have to be perfect, we all are snobs in our own little ways; expecting things to be of a certain standard is not wrong. Like everyone else even I have a level of tolerance beyond which I do get crazy. Now, I am not someone with OCD but I love cleanliness, not a little speck of dust should be near my things (only my things, though) also there is a place for everything and if clothes or towels were meant to be thrown on the bed or on the floor we would not have things like, the wardrobes, the shelves, the hangers etc. We all have different tastes in almost everything in life and that is the uniqueness, right? But that is not being a snob, that is just being genuine about everything. Being snob is when people say “did you got?” and something in my head snaps. Yeah, I am one of those grammar people who just can’t bear the same mistakes being made again and again. Languages and cultures are fascinating and need to be followed perfectly (yeah, I am a snob but not the kind that interrupts every other individual doing something the wrong way).

Nevertheless, I do dislike wannabe, pretentious people, also those who give into stereotypical behaviour. Simplicity is a thing (long forgotten) but a well respected thing. Just stay true to yourself everyone will like you, but wannabes have it different they think the world is their ramp and all they need to do is, show off, copy the famous and in that they make the most common of all errors they fake it all and that is something I am quite snobbish about. Just be cool, which means to be yourself… not a doppelganger of the pop culture’s projection and definition of cool.
