So you know how changing environment scares us? Things are not the way they were or they are just taking a completely new turn – you name it it is always a headache. We are in a motion until an external force is applied on us. Yes, I just applied physics on life because it is applicable. I never really think of changing anything unless I am done with it or just bored of it or simply feeling out of place with it.
Transitions are a part of transformations and they either make something or break something. But even if something breaks that in fact is the part of transformation – like a shriveled flower in summer is back in its vibrant form in spring. Only changes get us from here to there, from now to then and from “meh” to “okay now we are talking!”
Took this one in college one day while hanging out with friends. Our Uni is really the best when it comes to flowers and their gardens. This reminded me of the transition in my life from student to the working lad that I am now – I am transforming. And wish me luck because I am making new changes for myself; the external forces are in play here.
One of the best states to be in is Full Consciousness. In this state of self-awareness just about everything is deeper and slower because you comprehend more that what meets the eye. And rather than being a tiring state it is actually a freeing one that makes us more patient than our past-selves.
Thinking is not our duty, comprehending is… The more we understand, the better we know and the best we respond. And instead of being in the confusing – what about this/what about that – mode we would actually be in a clear state of mind.
Games is not what our brain wants to play, it just wants to be playful not a player. Players are on this side and the playful ones on the other side (of the picture). Liberated!!
Rain and storms – summer treats 🙂
There is a huge difference in planning/thinking of dancing in the rain and in actually being out there.
The word not used to define life is smooth.
The word that can not define relationships is smooth.
The awkwardness is never smooth.
The binge-eating/watching/reading never leads to a smooth mood.
The running up is not smooth.
The falling down is not smooth.
Transitions can never be smooth.
Work… Smooth?!? Never!
Systems, rules, things to make us fools – NOT SMOOTH.
If you expect something and you get something else – it is not going to be smooth. Every move meets with friction – walk, run, ride, communicate etc. It is only when something flies it can pass smoothly. To fly means to be light and that means getting rid of the burden – overwhelming feelings and emotions, desires and expectations, wants and cravings. Only the lighter goes farther. What a nice word is smooth and how delicious are smoothies!? My point… gliding or sliding is better than meeting with speed-bumps.
Sky is not the limit, planets are!!
See the angels descending?!? (We need rain it is reaching 43 degrees)
Sometimes it is important to take a pause and look around at the greens and the blues. Shift the focus and that might just change the perspective!
Lost is not the right word really, but what other word could define the aimless journey we all have as kids. It is not like we are lost in the middle of something, we are indeed lost at the beginning of something. And that is actually the easiest kind of lost. Who even cares!? I mean when you do not even know that you are lost how does it matter!!
In this phase itself we find small things, those little things, that entice us. We realise that the world is more than just video games or School or friends. Still it is not until the teen years that we sort of find ourselves. I mean I have done pretty strange things at that age and I can only laugh upon them now. I think a lot of my peers can relate to it. We fought over friendships, over girls, over boys, over notes, over toys and now we see each other (well, at least people around me) as equals. No popular, no geeks – no labels.
Acceptance of the fact that we all are sailing in the same boat has made us come together. That is one way of putting it. College is where we evolve, at least I did (thankfully). I became me. I had a plan for my future like everyone. And as it goes changes are unexpected (certainly) so, things have not turned out exactly as I pictured. In fact the picture is different very very far from my imagination. But if you keep your mind open you see opportunities and not obstacles (nice quote isn’t it?)
But if you get that “one thing”, things and people around you might not be as per your choice, but ‘it’ will be under your control. That thing would fill you with enough passion, drive, strength and you might even surprise yourself with the new-found resilience of yours. Sort of like my story. I survived and I am surviving being the young-adult at this day and age with the not so perfect life but that is just on the outside. At least on the inside I have it in my hands. And that comes from being purposeful.
Do not go out finding it!! It won’t come to you!
Just cruise through and you will see what is, is perfect the way it is because it is either meant to be or the way you want it to be. The former is out of our control and the latter just great. Purpose and perfection is in being indulgent, not in waiting for it be alright standing at the starting line.
Purpose is not the some-thing we re born with (expect for some). It is the thing we find. Find that thing and it shall lead you to what you really deserve. Let’s hope for it.
Tall, small, coloured or not.
Strong, weak, mildly meek.
Loud, quiet, overly grand.
That completes a wonderland.
Circus is this world and circus is within. And sadly not just in funny way but funny-sad way too. Some like playing with fire, some like the toys, some are accustomed to using words and pen is mightier than the sword, but some think of the other as more useful.
Then again whose fault is it really? You can not fight a sword fight with a pen now can you? The mightier is the one who is strong and fire fights fire that is both practical and true. Hmmm the wonders there are on this land.
